Membership Types

To address the specific needs of each member, APICS offers four classes of membership. Select the membership package that is best suited to the professional and educational goals of you and your company.

Professional Membership
Available to individuals worldwide who currently work in operations management or a related field.  North American professionals may access a wealth of education through online resources, local training and networking, award-winning publications, and product and service discounts.  Membership remains active if the member changes jobs.  Annual dues are $200 USD in most cases.  APICS encourages all members in North America whose work or home address is within 50 miles of a chapter to belong to a chapter.  A portion of your dues amount supports your local chapter affiliation in applicable. Enterprise Membership
As an APICS Enterprise Member, your organization has access to the most up-to-date industry best practices, networking, and industry visibility opportunities, plus the latest education, training, and resources to manage the bottom line, and maintain a competitive edge.

Student Membership
Available to students currently enrolled full time in a degree-seeking program in operations management or a related field at an accredited college or university. Empower yourself with experience. By joining the ranks of more than 2,500 APICS student members you will meet and network with experienced professionals, build leadership and training skills, and engage in competitions and programs that help promote education and encourage interest in the profession of operations management.  Annual dues are $25 USD.   Join as a Student Member today!

Academic Professional Membership
Help shape the future of operations management.  As an academic professional member of APICS, you help shape the future of the profession. Eligibility for Academic Professional Membership requires and individual to be employed full-time by one or more accredited academic institutions as:

  • Professor
  • Assistant Professor
  • Researcher
  • Dean
  • Lecturer
  • Equivalent international title

Retired-Professional Membership
Available for individuals who have reached the age of 62, are retired from formal employment, and have been APICS members for a minimum of five years can use this form to apply for retired membership.  National membership dues are discounted 50 percent.  Members submit their completed form to their local chapter president for approval.  The chapter president submits the completed form to APICS Headquarters for processing.  Contact the Gold Rush Chapter President at president@apicsgoldrush.org.
