President's Message

Hello GoldRush Chapter!

April can be many things. April showers for May flowers, the dreaded Tax Time or Spring Break for those of us attending school, or with children in school.

Our brief break has ended for those of us moving forward with the Certified in Production and Inventory Management classes. The 2nd of our CPIM series, Master Planning of Resources, just kicked off with a total of 10 students attending. Please continue to visit our website for updates on classes we’re holding.

For those of you who joined us in February for our joint meeting with NAPM, featuring Rod Landes, thank you for your support! We had a great turn-out, and the meal, presentation and fellowship were all very enjoyable.

We look forward to our next PDM, featuring our own APICS Region 10 Vice President, Mel Nelson. Mel has been an active and dedicated member of APICS for many years and we look forward to understanding more about Sales & Operational Planning process success.

In the meantime on your way to the post office to mail your return, be sure to stop and smell the spring flowers!
