President's Message

Greetings, Gold Rush Chapter Members! What a wonderful summer it's been so far.  Starting with a Blue Moon in June, we've been able to beat the heat this season compared to this time last year. 

While you're hopefully taking much needed time to vacation and enjoy the Central Valley Summer Sun, your Gold Rush Chapter board of directors is busy with Leadership Training in San Jose!  July 27 & 28 were spent in meetings and seminars along with many other APICS Region 10 representatives.  It was a wonderful opportunity to glean new ideas and fresh perspectives on how we can work toward delivering great programs and classes for the Gold Rush Chapter membership. 

On the calendar this month:  the next CPIM certification class will begin in August - be sure to check out our education page for more information.  Also, we're working to coordinate the next Plant Tour - watch for more details on our PDM Events page.  In the meantime, if you're looking for a new challenge we're currently working to fill the following board positions:  Membership, Education and Programs.  Keep in touch!
